This game's premise is simple: you are an astronaut, and you go to other planets in your solar system to explore ancient alien ruins to discover what they did, what happened to them, and your place in it all.
I want to talk about it more, but it's REALLY hard to talk about. The game is purely information based, so there's no keys or unlocks, just you and what you've learned. This game must be played blind, and it can only truly be played once. A spoiler can easily cut a huge chunk of the game out because you'd no longer need to find the information.
From the moment you start the game you're going to have questions, and the game has answers. If you become as invested as I was, you will go on a rollercoaster as you are carefully drip fed each piece of the puzzle until you learn what you need to do to beat the game and what it entails. This game has made me laugh, made me cry, made me go through all five stages of grief, and left a hole in my heart for more that I keep trying to fill with other games. Sadly, the game is unique that it's hard to find another game that does something similar.
My only gripe is that the game is that if you get motion sick easily, it can be hard to play. You will be in zero gravity and you'll need to get used to the fact that there is no “down” in space.
Go play it, and go in blind. If you can, include the DLC. You won't regret it.
Favorite OST track: To stay spoiler free, it's a certain track that plays when everything is on the line.
